Master of Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a focus on mechanical engineering.

Areas of Practice

She focuses on patent filing in China and overseas markets and related intellectual property services. She is familiar with Chinese patent applications, PCT applications and overseas patent filing procedures. She has supported domestic and international clients in more than 1,000 patent applications.

She has extensive experience in patent translation and has completed patent translation projects totaling tens of millions of Chinese characters. She is able to accurately understand and process patent documents in machinery, electromechanical engineering, automation, medical equipment and other technical fields while considering technical expression, legal wording and filing requirements.

She advises clients on patent review and planning based on their product features, technical routes and market plans. Her work helps clients develop systematic patent protection strategies and build patent portfolios that match their business development.

She also has extensive experience in patent infringement, patent invalidation, patent litigation and trade secret protection. She has represented or participated in a number of intellectual property dispute resolution matters.

Representative Cases

1. Represented a Shanghai logistics technology company in design patent infringement and invention patent infringement cases against several companies. The client prevailed in both the first-instance and second-instance proceedings. She successfully applied for pre-litigation evidence preservation and obtained an interim injunction during the patent infringement proceedings. The matter was the first patent infringement case in which the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court granted an interim injunction during litigation.

2. Represented Broad Group in a major criminal trade secret case involving several companies. She became involved at the trial stage and successfully assisted in securing the release of the client.

3. Represented a foreign-invested company in a trade secret matter. Through early involvement in the case, she successfully helped the client avoid criminal prosecution.

4. Represented Shanghai Tujia Luggage Co., Ltd. in an infringement dispute involving Sanrio Co., Ltd. of Japan and obtained a favorable judgment.

5. Represented an oral care products company in cases involving unfair competition, copyright infringement and design patent infringement, and obtained favorable judgments in all of the cases.

6. Represented clients in a number of administrative litigation cases concerning patent and trademark validity.
